In collaboration with Friends NYC, a vibrant brick-and-mortar store in Bushwick, Brooklyn, I led a fixture refresh to revitalize their retail space. By creatively modifying readymade scaffolding pieces and incorporating stacked plywood shelves, I designed a modular shelving system that transformed the store's ambiance. The new setup not only allowed more natural light to fill the space but also provided an attractive and flexible way to showcase their playful, design-forward merchandise. The result was a fresh, inviting environment that perfectly aligned with Friends NYC's unique style.
